The latest version ODIS 5.1.5 software is verified working with VAS 5054a. This article takes WIN7 system as an example, through computer with Bluetooth and VAS5054 Bluetooth for pairing connection settings.
Step 1: Install driver software
On the desktop, open Computer- Software(D:)
Create a new folder, name ODIS 5.1.5
Return to Computer- DVD/CD-RW DRIVE(E:) ODIS, copy the whole files to ODIS 5.1.5
Return to DVD/CD-RW DRIVE(E:), repeat the previous step(copy the whole files), until the DVD/CD-RW DRIVE(E:) change to:
Next, extract files PostSeup.part 01, and delete other compressed files, and open 0.DTLite 4454-0314
Install DAEMON Tools
Next
Install
Finish
Windows Download and install update
Update and install Windows 6.1-KB2921916-X86
Repeat the step to install Windows 6.1-KB2992611X86 and Windows 6.1-KB3033929X86
Open offboard DiagSetup
Install offboard Diagnostic Information system
Find the license from:
Copy it to desktop
Install finished
Next, run Offboard diagnostic information system as admin
Finish
The same as, also run ODIS as admin
Diagnosis testing
Open Offboard diagnostic information system
Change the car brand to Volkswagen
Next go to OBD diagnosis
And then change to coding
Diagnosis finished
WIN7 system ODIS connect with 5054 Bluetooth
Step1: add device
Install successfully
Step 2: connect with Bluetooth
Open ODIS Service Diagnostic system
After a short wait, the software interface automatically jumps to the following state, indicating the success of Bluetooth pairing. You can close the software window.
With the above settings, the VAS5054 connector has been matched with the computer ODIS system under your WIN7 system. You can start the software and connect the connector for test and diagnosis.
