I have a problem with ISTA-P – it starts and loads OK with loader, but threre is absolutely no text displayed in its interface except the the status bar on top (see attached screens).
Everything was fine but I have upgraded from windows 7 to widows 10. Had to fix cable setup and now ISTA D works OK but in ISTA P all interface items (menus, tabs, grey-white strips etc.) are displayed and seem to work – i can navigate through them but “blindly” – but there is absolutely no text. Everything is “blank”. For example if i go to session start I can see the radio-buttons but not the description of them.
Have reinstalled C+ redists, net frameworks are included in system (both 3.5 and 4.7.2).
I’m using Standalone “package” downloaded with torrent including Rheingold 4.03 + loader 6.1F (rev1) with K-D CAN emulator + OBD-USB cable.

I have uninstalled all vcredists and installed the copies downloaded from internet pages of MS (in my language)
2015 vcredist did not install saying there is newer version (2017).
Next I have reinstalled piaredist (happen to have 2005 and 2010) and…
Tadam – it works
I have uninstalled piaredist 2010 and everything works OK.

Looks like the same problem is back again.
I think I did everything according to instruction and – still there is no text in interface of ISTA-P
This is standalone package of Rheingold 4.15.16 and ISTA-P 3.66.0.200
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Intel i5
4 GB RAM
ISTA-D, INPA, NCS, WinKfp etc – all works OK
ISTA-P worked OK for a while and now suddenly again the same fault is back.
I do not know what went wrong again.
I have installed all VC++ rediststs using “MPVC_11_setup.exe” found on Internet – all look like installed OK
I have checked .NETs – one by one – the installers say everything was installed already previously
I have isntalled the piaredist 2005 – says it is isntalled
I have updated java – no further updates are availailable
I have removed ISTA-D and ISTA-P.
I have run RCleaner 4.4
I have unzipped the whole ISTA-P with all data files
I have reset the loader 6.1 and put the password again
Still no go.
The solution:
Install Windows 10 Pro 64bit Fresh,
Use Aio Installer,
Use the including vcredist multlang in tools folder
Install Java,
Install Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5 ( IF Aio Doesn’t)
Make sure the Firewall is turned off as it can block the JAVA runtimes and cause errors in ISTA-P
No antivirus should be installed,
ISTA-P should be working fine after this, Get the latest 3.66.1.200 from here and re try again,
I have not seen this problem for a long time, I have NEVER seen it on Windows 10 the only time I found this error was in Windows 7 as I didn’t have the latest Internet Explorer installed no pictures would load, Updated Windows 7 and Java etc all fine,
I say try a clean Windows install.
Standard tools is not going to make a difference to how ISTA-P is going to load the only error I have seen it show is if you don’t install
Patched_EDIABAS_7.3.0 or an Ediabas and that’s the loader asking for it not ISTA-P
