IDSS 2015: How to update to 2015After install reboot then go to folder “IDSS_Update” and copy and replace all files to:
X86: C:\Program Files\IDSS
X64: C:\Program Files X86\IDSS

2 Setup IDSS 2013,Update,Reg
3 Setup driver “C:\Program Files\IDSS\Nexiq”
4 Rename folder IDSS in 1IDSS ( loading with other windows (flash usb))
5 Setup IDSS 2014, Reg
6 Greate Shortcut IDSS 2013
Select USB or Bluetooth in IDSS 2013
For USB-Link 2 (124032)
IDSS only US and Canadian market!
Install two versions!!!
1 Windows XP SP3 English 32bit
2 Setup IDSS 2013,Update,Reg
3 Copy with replacement files from 2013_MOD
4 Rename folder IDSS in 1IDSS ( loading with other windows (flash usb))

6 Copy with replacement files from 2014_MOD
7 Greate Shortcut IDSS 2013
8 Uninstall driver USB-Link 1 (Select Uninstall Method>Custom>Select All>Next>Select All>Next>Select All…..)
9 Setup driver USB-Link 2
Select USB or Bluetooth in IDSS 2013
Used cable 493013 OBD
IDSS 2013 and 2014 now work with the Nexiq USB link 2
works very well !!!!
Just to make clear for anyone who is installing this.
1 install IDSS 2013
2 install Update
3 Apply Reg file
4 Rename the IDSS folder in program files(86) to 1IDSS
5 Install IDSS 2014
6 Apply Reg file
7 copy and replace 2013 Mod files in 1IDSS folder
8 copy and replace 2014 Mod files in IDSS folder
9 Rename the IDSS desktop shortcut to IDSS 2014
10 Make a new shortcut for the IDSS 2013 IDSS.exe located in the 1IDSS folder to the Desktop and rename it IDSS 2013
11 uninstall nexiq usb-link 1 drivers using advanced setting and delete everything.
12 install Nexiq usb link-2 drivers
If this is going to be installed on Windows 7 or 8 then run everything in compatibility mode for XP sp3, including the install.exe and the shortcuts.
